Byggbranschens Safety Park
Byggbranschens Safety Park is a 15,000-square-metre simulated construction site for practical training in occupational health and safety. Here, people from across the construction process can explore realistic situations, identify risks and discuss how behaviours, decisions, roles and responsibilities affect safety at work.
The Safety Park brings together companies, organisations, schools and students with the aim of contributing to safer workplaces and a stronger safety culture throughout the construction process.
Safety training in a realistic environment
The Safety Park includes realistic environments and scenarios based on situations that can occur in construction and civil engineering.
Participants learn through dialogue, reflection and practical scenarios. Rather than simply being told what is safe or unsafe, they are encouraged to identify risks, discuss different approaches and reflect on how accidents, injuries and occupational ill health can be prevented.
Topics and scenarios include work at height, excavations, confined spaces, vibration, dust, noise, ergonomics, road and civil engineering work, as well as behaviours, communication, roles and responsibilities.
Training for companies and organisations
Our company training is adapted to the organisation, its activities and its needs.
We welcome different roles from across the construction process, including management teams, clients, designers, site managers, supervisors, construction workers, safety representatives and suppliers.
Bringing different roles together creates opportunities to understand each other’s perspectives and build a shared approach to occupational health and safety.
Training for schools and students
We also provide practical safety training for upper secondary schools, higher vocational education, universities and other higher education institutions.
The aim is to give students an early understanding of risks, behaviours and occupational health and safety before or during their first experiences in the construction industry.
Safety throughout the construction process
A safe construction site is not created only during the construction phase. Decisions made during planning and design can affect working conditions later in a project.
For this reason, the Safety Park takes a broader perspective on occupational health and safety. We encourage participants to consider how decisions, communication and responsibilities throughout the construction process can contribute to safer working environments.
A meeting place for the construction industry
The Safety Park is more than a training facility. It is also a meeting place where companies, schools and organisations can come together to exchange experiences and develop occupational health, safety and wellbeing in the construction industry.
The park is used for events, project kick-off meetings, partner meetings and other forms of industry collaboration.

Part of Byggföretagen
Byggbranschens Safety Park has been part of Byggföretagen since 1 July 2023. Byggföretagen is the Swedish Construction Federation, an industry and employers’ organisation for construction, civil engineering and specialist companies.
The Safety Park opened in October 2019 and was originally established as a joint initiative by Byggföretagen and other organisations in the construction industry.
